Biscottificio Belli is founded in 1958 by Enzo Belli, who exploits the bakery knowledge he got from his grandparent Aristide, in order to start his own artisanal business.
The specialties he prepares are the ones that belong to the Tuscany bakery traditions: Cantuccini cookies made with almonds and leavened cakes made using sourdough.
His bakery shop immediately meets success and Enzo manages to slowly upgrade his activity into a real industrialized company, expanding his business beyond Tuscany’s border and becoming one of the leaders in the Cantuccini cookies production.
The whole philosophy behind his success is simple but really effective: attentively choosing the best raw materials, following the original recipes of the tradition, working in a safe and healthy location and finally caring for all the consumers’expectations to completely guarantee their satisfaction.
All these tasks are still committed by Enzo’s sons and nephews, who carry on their forefather’s legacy, putting their efforts to preserve his values together with the quality of his cookies.
At the present days, Biscottificio Belli is located in a 4.000 square meters wide plant in the town of Calenzano, which stands really close to the wonderful city of Florence.
